Apocalyptic Witchcraft by Peter Grey

2.0

There were parts of this book that I enjoyed but I was put off from the start by the author's inappropriate deployment of a Tupac lyric. White people, it's not ok to use the n-word even if it's in a quotation. Just don't do it.

Later the author again steps in shit when he quotes Ted Kaczynski at length in what I see as a really poorly constructed simile about witchcraft being oversocialized. To support his point, he quotes a section of Kaczynski's manifesto that criticizes the (by-default white) leftist relation to "the black man" and as a rhetorical device asks the reader to mentally replace every instance of "black" with "witch."  I'd rather not.
