This felt like more of a filler book after the shift of the last book, but still some things did happen so that's okay. No more hints of the cross-over with Dawn of the Arcana except for the reference to the war and some preparation for it. I admit I'm not fully sure where the timelines line up between the two stories, but I am still intrigued to see what comes next.
