Enjoyable!
I enjoyed this book! It was really creepy at times and an all around great story. I also really like general vibe and atmosphere. I also really liked the monster in this story.
There are three main reasons why I didn’t give 5 stars:
•Flat characters. They weren’t unlikeable, but I just didn’t really care about the characters as I should have. They had so much potential to be interesting, too.
•I feel like a scene or two could’ve been removed and the “final battle” could’ve been longer.
•As I stated, there were some very creepy scenes in the book. Plenty will find this book outright scary. I do feel as though, due to the way various scenes unfold, it begins to feel less scary and more repetitive.
But overall, it was a fun read!
