Whenever I think of a book that has failed spectacularly at what it set out to do I think of this book. This stands to date as the most racist book I have ever read the racism spewed by the main character is never properly addressed and I believe that is something which the (depending on your view on whether or not this is a spoiler alert) love interest is told to just get over.
