It was SO. GOOD. to be back in Fitz's world again. As usual, Hobb was at the top of her game. This book had a bit of a slow-burn feel to it, but I loved every minute! So many emotions, so much character growth, and of course, heartbreaking moments as only Hobb can write them.

I would recommend that folks read the The Willful Princess and the Piebald Prince (novella) prior to this book. Not necessary but it added a lot to the story for me to see where the background of the Wit came from and how it's handled in Fool's Errand.
