Another tag line that unfortunately proved itself to be true with this book. This book was rich, Gothic, jumbled, and dark. Horrifying in spots, apathetic and confusing in others. It was a roller coaster of good and meh, excellent and disappointing all at once.
I feel like I closed the book with more questions than I have answers for, and a lot of dripping bloody loose ends that I wish I could tie into neat little bows to know exactly what happened in this book.
I don’t regret reading it—I just wish it had been BETTER.
