Taking Chances by Molly McAdams

Well. Then.

This isn't so much a "review", per se, as it is a rant. Just FYI.

I regret that I did not read any reviews prior to reading this. I never like to go in blind... with books or movies, but I thought I'd seen this book on enough shelves that I had a general idea, which I did, with the exception of one really big part which, I must disclosed, occurred at the 59% part, which is also where I did--full disclosure--DNF. I don't like those kind of surprises. Came out of nowhere, and was a sh!tty, sh!tty draw, for sure. P1ssed me off.

Meanwhile, fcking "Princess" just goes on, being her Princessy self. Literally, I despised the heroine. In so many ways. And not because she was "in love" with two men at the same time. That's actually far more acceptable to me than anything else about this book. Most unrealistic and unacceptable to me was her being so perfect, and so wonderful, and so smart, and so beautiful, and every, single, person--on our planet and others--loooove her soooo much. They choose to cater to her over their own family, ffs! She's ridiculous. She's not fcking perfect. She's a gddmn moron! It was awful.

And then... at 59%... *smh* ... Unh-unh. ...*lip curled in distaste* ... Nope. I ain't doin' it. *shut my Kindle* Will find another read tomorrow. I'm out.
