This novel was super fun to read and I loved every second of it! This definitely gets 4.5/5 stars and I am excited to read The Final Girls Support Group after this. The story felt like a marriage between Desperate Housewives and True Blood with a definite touch of disturbing horror that will have your skin crawling and you holding your breath during certain scenes. The story is also darker than it makes itself out to be and touches on interesting topics as well such as privilege, gender roles, misogyny, and racism. I loved that we got a truly sinister villain in this story, and spent a majority of the time being stressed for our protagonist. If you love disturbing/horror books & our fanged friends, then this might be something you'll enjoy!
