Not a bad book by any means, I just went into it with the wrong mindset, and it took me some time to adjust, which affected my reading experience. This was dark and twisted, but I enjoyed its whole villain's perspective retelling. I think this story highlighted a lot of key details from the original Peter Pan story that are often glossed over or trivialized, like what it means to be a child forever and the consequences of that. I think it's a good story, just didn't have a very strong impact on me.
