This is the second book to the cat and ouse duet and it leaves off with Addie being sex trafficed and Zade is using his resources to hunt down and kill whoever was involved. Throughout the story it tells Addie’s POV while being in the whorehouse before she auctioned off to her buyer. The book is a lot more detailed and vivid on what she goes through and very heartbreaking. I love Zade’s character because he’s determined to do whatever it takes to protect Addie and get her back. He’s willing to burn down the world for her and he’ll do just that to find her…
Graphic: Murder, Blood, Body shaming, Kidnapping, Rape, Trafficking, Cursing, Drug abuse, Emotional abuse, Forced institutionalization, Torture, Bullying, Death, Sexual assault, and Violence
****SPOILER****
My favorite part of the book is when Zade finds Addie in the train after she starts to murder people and Enzo helps her escape. Also when Zade finds Sibby and brings her into the mix.
