The stories were scary but the realization while I read this that MOST of the scenes in the conjuring and annabelle movies were TRUE was even scarier. When you watch a movie that claims to be based on true events, you assume that only 20 percent of what you see is based on the real story. This book confirms that Ed and Lorraine dangerous profession was accurately represented in the movies. The book also goes into detail about how one makes themselves more susceptible to possession and hauntings and I hate to say that I have done some of the no-nos on that list!
