Reread, excon shows up to have Kinsey deliever a cashier check (it's the 80s) to someone who did a favor for him. He ended up being a con man who later shows up dead, ruled accidental death. More unfolds on the check and who he is trying to pay and why others are out to get him. Again fast wrap up. Kinsey has got to stop going alone! These stories keep ending in death, she literally ran from the police station to co front the murderer.
