How the Bible Actually Works: In Which I Explain How An Ancient, Ambiguous, and Diverse Book Leads Us to Wisdom Rather Than Answers—and Why That's Great News by Peter Enns

4.0

It’s hard to know how to fully review this book but what I would say is that it has really made me think about how I approach the bible and certain aspects of my faith. I cannot agree with everything Enns writes but I like his views on interpreting through the lense of wisdom and our world today but at points it goes a little far for me, at what point are we blurring the lines so much that we are just rewriting the bible? I’m not sure but certainly lots to digest and think about. It would be a good discussion book for sure. Really interesting indeed.
