The Bravest Girl in the School by Ethel Talbot

4.0

I absolutely love the "absolutely ripping" and "awfully jolly" language in this British schoolgirl novel. The story is fun and easy-going.
I love that there is an early 1900s Australian girl. Apparently all Australians were wild, daring, independent. It corresponds to the Billabong books, showing me that yessssss young Australians were this whole different type of person.
The caveat is: It's a bit racist and I do not enjoy that.
