2.5 stars! This was disappointingly mid. I was expecting a lot more from renowned Cassandra Clare. Sword Catcher was marketed as adult, but it reads very YA. Almost 700 pages and there was zero character development. The Prince was the brattiest prince I've ever had the displeasure of reading about *insert yearning for Dorian Havilliard II here*, taking away the seriousness of the plot Clare was trying to capture. Kel, Lin and Antonetta were the only interesting parts of the novel, and weren't given enough page time to do much. I think the world building was interesting; I liked the politics, manic monarch and charter families.
