I really wanted to like this book. I love cozy, witchy books and I liked the initial premise of the story, but I just found myself a bit bored and there seemed to be a few plot holes. Not only that, but the timeline was confusing, I thought it felt like events took place over a few weeks but it was actually months? That, and interactions between characters felt stilted and didn’t always make sense. Unfortunately it missed the mark for me, but I suppose you could still consider it a cozy, witchy read.
