This book had just enough to keep it interesting. It felt like a very natural progression in the series. Theresa and Than have both matured in the relationship, which is nice to see. There were also some good themes in the story, such as bodily autonomy.

This was alluded to in some of the previous books but became more prevalent in this novel. It is actually an issue for multiple characters and yet it still feels like it is brushed over. There was a short “it’s not your fault” moment, but I wished that it was given more time in this book as it mentioned a significant issue
