I know I have probably mentioned this a 1000 times already but I cannot emphasize enough on how much I didn't want to read this until I did actually read it.
Normally, when my friends suggest me a book, I don't give it a second thought and just jump right into it. This time I asked my best friend (Muskan) a 100 times if she realizes what she is doing, I promised her not only will I not be subtle with my review, I would be more than willing to violently hit her on the head.
This is her second book recommendation, the first was the Infernal Devices which legit gave me my first book hangover and of course I was head over heels for William Herondale until....
Yes, I know I am 15 years late and you have probably heard it more times than you have heard your name being called but Edward Cullen is my favorite male protag, he has taken the pedestal from Will. Oh how ardently I admire this beautiful, flawless and dazzling creature. I AM TOTALLY TELLING MYSELF TO CALM THE F DOWN BUT HE'S SO GOOOD I WANT TO CRI. I am not gonna give you a brief of what this book is about because you probably already know it BUT I am telling you if you are anything like me, too afraid to pick this up because of the shitty movies or bad reviews...... am telling you. PICK THE DAMN BOOK
Also, this is the first time I have related to a character who hasn't died (yet), book Bella is clumsy, she enjoys her own company, reads for pleasure, has a bit of a sarcastic sense of humor and when she is in love, she is head deep and would go to great lengths for her loved ones and is also very responsible. So, yes I related to Bella a little and I rarely relate to a character but I did here and she is ALIVE! (I don't wanna give spoilers of the characters who died and I related to but believe me it's sed).
To conclude this: READ IT.
And I hope they stop ruining wonderful books by turning them in a shitty film.
