This was a completely enjoyable listen for me. Was it a little too simplistically explained for my taste? Sure. But I have a biology background, so many people may not feel the same way. Also, that was pretty perfect for the audio format, as I tend to have to occasionally focus on driving. While I had heard of a lot of the studies mentioned (and...there was actually mention of a child abuse case that I was tangentially involved in as a child, so that was weird), there was a bunch of new stuff in there too. I really appreciated the section about superstitions/religion, even though there wasn't much of an answer as to why we think that way. I've already written a booktalk, and I'll be recommending this one to folks who like popular science reads! 4 stars.
