One of Crichton’s more unique novels, and (I believe?) the only one that is a direct sequel to a previous book. Unlike the other books, this one does not contain Crichton’s typical unraveling of the safety of the main characters. I’m honestly not sure how to describe this book, and I’m also not sure why I liked it so much. It is possible that it’s just my bias creeping in because I love dinosaurs so much. But this book is really great.
