after 16 volumes of steady emotional buildup, this was such a natural conclusion to the story; I love that LITERALLY EVERYTHING comes full circle and shigeo finally gets a chance to reconcile with his emotions/powers (which, under years of repression, became so strong that they're literally personified). the psychological aspect of the final ???% arc was both really illuminating and affirming to me as a reader, and it was definitely the highlight of the whole series for me. i love shigeo so much; i'll remember the last panel super fondly because of what it represents for him <3 overall this was a series that felt kind & humbling & genuinely full of heart!
