This is not a typical Stephen King book. At least not after "the shed".
But it is still a decent read. I think it works better for those who enjoy fantasy novels, but personally I found it to be a little lacklustre towards the end. Somewhat predictable, but the characters themselves (with a handful of exceptions) were good. The story itself, as King intended, falls inline with a classic fairy tale with a peppering of that dark descriptive way he has always had.
Overall, it's an ok read. Wouldn't read it again though. But then again, I don't like fantasy.
