Silver Sparrow

Silver Sparrow tells the story of two daughters who share a father. Their dad is married to both their moms, but his original family doesn’t know of his second wife and family. A relatively unique plot, I thought this book was maybe not absolutely fantastic but did a good job of explaining the thoughts of two daughters in this situation and the feelings that result from not being their father’s only priority. While the father isn’t necessarily the villain of the story, it is interesting to hear about the ramifications that his actions have and to consider how there isn’t really a good answer to the problems these two families have because it’s obviously a less than ideal situation.
