A Hummingbird Christmas by Karen Foley

5.0

I truly loved and enjoyed every minute of this story. It was such an amazing and beautiful Christmas romance with characters you can't help but love. I'm a true GA girl, but this story made we want to take a trip to Glacier Creek, Montana just for the Christmas festival, toboggan races, hot cocoa, gingerbread houses, and be embraced by this community that take care of each other. I wanted to join the Holliday family as they sat around the fire listening to Gramps tell stories. And speaking of Gramps, I wanted to wrap him and Gram up in my arms and give them the biggest hug. I could feel my heart break for them as years later, they still continued to grieve for their son. They were also amazing grandparents, and had such a loving relationship with their widowed daughter-in-law, Joy.

Cole and Joy had so much chemistry...the longing and intense looks, little smirks, blushing, and sexy smiles. The author did an amazing job with the steamy kisses and touches that explicit sex scenes was not needed to show that the chemistry between Cole and Joy was hot and undeniable. I really felt their connection. I knew they'd fallen in love rather quickly, but I loved that. It was nice how they spent time together though getting to know each other. It seemed like they really enjoyed hanging out with each other. And Cole was so amazing with Joy's daughter, Piper. This was truly a heartfelt romance that I've put at the top of my reread list.
