It was lots of fun re-reading this book. I was never an avid Harry Potter reader growing up, but I remember that I really enjoyed them and they affected the imagination play that I did as a kid. “The Chamber of Secrets” is a great book in the series, the mystery and uncovering clues throughout the book is engaging for the reader. It doesn’t have the boring and frustrating angst that later Harry Potter books have, that I disliked. It’s a simple and fun story, and the characters are all interesting and rounded. I recommend that if you’ve never got around to reading the Harry Potter series that you give them a try, I hope that one day I can share them with my own kids.
