How She Died, How I Lived by Mary Crockett

5.0

My reading is very personal. I know some people wouldn’t consider this book a five star, but let me just take you on my journey. I went into this book thinking that it was gonna be a YA thriller, but soon found out that it was a story about survivors guilt and the impact of the aftermath of a very tragic murder. The grief is what made me stay! For years now I’ve been dealing with my own survivors guilt and this made me really reflect on my own trauma. It made me really think on, I’m not okay with what happened to me but I’m getting better.
