I went into this book basically blind because I saw a TikTok about an couple of sentences in the book... and I was hooked. I know it's kind of a toss up with those kinds of things but I had a good feeling. And I'm so glad I listened to that instinct and picked this book up!
Britanee Nicole is a new author to me. I hadn't heard of her or this series (and so far I've only read this book from the series), but that didn't matter. Aiden and Lex love story was a second chance romance that actually WORKED! Which I can literally count with one hand the amount of books I've liked with that trope. Honestly, I can think of only two others rn. Well, this one's the third!
I am so, so in love with this book that if it wasn't because it has sooo much singing in it (a personal pet peeve in books) I would have given this one five fat ducking stars!
