Normally, I'm a big fan of E.B. White, but this book really didn't float my boat. It was just so strange, from the moment of a mouse being born to human parents all the way to the end when he drove away into the sunset. Eh? I just didn't get it. Don't think my students would be a big fan of it either. It's just not accessible for a normally raised modern young person. What can I say?
