Great story about life at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. Main characters are Dewey and Suze, who are girls but not girly girls, making this great for boys and girls.

Gripe? I really hate books who use the death of a parent to advance a plot. At least there appears to be a sequel coming to hopefully give us a happy ending.
