I was excited about Maddie's story but knowing it was Beau's as well made me less excited. However, we really good to see a different side of him. His dad however... Very hypocritical of him at the end. Sadly I didn't expect anything else. 

I'm not really sure how the kink/bdsm Community feels about this book. Generally it's probably a good way to introduce people to kink. However, there's a moment where it's pretty clear Beau should've used his safe word but he didn't. Maddie didn't read him correctly either and stop it. And it didn't get discussed afterwards,... 

I think I would've also liked a bit more of a look into what Maddie said about having to work harder for being in the same place as Emerson is. Or how she made sure women felt safe in the club. Similarity, I hoped that Beau would've eventually tell her how his friends used the app so that they could possibly try to come up with a solution to that problem.

Very happy however that they ended the book saying they don't feel like getting married is for them.  I feel like almost every HEA ends in marriage and/or children and it's nice to see that not being the case
