This was a good book! It was intense from start to finish. It is a fictional account of what events lead up to a world war. The United States, China, North and South Korea and the Middle East are all the main settings and governments in this book. The CIA and their counterparts in China and France are also involved. I was on the edge of my seat reading this and I think I read an 800-page book in 10 days. I also liked how they made the characters seem a bit more real such as the President of the United States not only had to prevent nuclear war but she was dealing with her marriage and teenage daughter as well.
