Saint Young Men 1
by Hikaru Nakamura
Saint Young Men is a slice of life episodic manga about Jesus and Buddha on vacation in modern Tokyo.
It is fairly funny, the beginning was rather lukewarm, but as the story progressed I found more and more scenes funny. My favorites are the one about land lady and the one in the public baths. The mangaka created light story, featuring good-natured humor. I love reading stories about extraordinary people in mundane surrounding.
The art is fairly good, nothing stood up or caught my attention but it was pleasant.
I believe the manga is ongoing and there are at least 8 volumes out already in Japan.
I would not recommend to go out of your way to read this manga, but it is a good light reading material for when you do not know what to read and want something light.
