I thought this book was a nice and easy read, even though it‘s probably not going to be my book of the year. I don‘t normally read thrillers, but this book was a great introduction into the genre.
Nora is an amazing, badass character, who does whatever it takes to survive and the flashbacks were a good way to get to know her and the trauma she had to endure.
Iris and Wes and the friendship between all three of them and the diversity they represent was one my favorite parts of the book.
There is a lot of child abuse in this book, which was at times hard to stomach.
All in all, this was an enjoyable read and I‘m definitely looking forward to the Netflix adaptation!
