it was an enjoyable book. but I do believe that you have to relate to the main character on a deep level to actually enjoy it. as said, Sally Rooney tries to put her own beliefs into her books. I, myself, did not see any problems with that, but many may not enjoy it. I can not talk for everybody, this book is a tricky one to recommend, but I enjoyed the time I spent reading this.
