They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera

2.0

Okay l'm not sure if I'm just heartless? But I did not feel ANY emotional connection to either Rufus or Mateo and didn't care much about their stories.

I think I didn't like the concept of this book as well as not liking how Rufus and Mateo fell for each other straight away after a couple of hours knowing each other, felt like Insta love and I hate that. Maybe if they had more time together or knew each prior?

I didn't like the side character POVs as well, they kept pulling me out from the story and I kept getting bored as they weren't even connected to the boys story!

Sadly, I did not feel the emotional heartbreak everyone else seems to be experiencing and didn't enjoy this book. The only reason I didn't DNF is because I wanted to know how they both died.
