The Sign of Four
by Arthur Conan Doyle
This was second Sherlock Holmes book and while it was (just) ok, it failed to compare to Hounds of the Baskervilles.
I thought the mystery wasn't deep or layered enough for my taste.
As well, and I'm not sure if anyone else will have this problem, but I am absolutely in love with the BBC series Sherlock so when I read about Doyle's Sherlock being a bit more warm, I did not care. I can't help it...Benedict Cumberbatch is the ultimate Sherlock.
