  • Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

3.0

The start was great and the chemistry even with the dreaded "miscomputation trope" which drives me up the wall  because how on earth do yall not know that you like each other and if i had to hear one more time " oh he just wants to save me from the monster trying to kill me but hes only doing it so i can save him ...... blah blah shut up and kiss.
this is clearly going to be a series (from the set up at the end ) but even this one maybe should have left it for the other ones it was alll too everywhere and too much going on at one time some things a should have been cut.
the writing  was really smooth and descriptive but again felt like some cutting was needed some scenes dragged and i felt  some of her revelations tiresome  as if they were negative (about zach ) she would change it the next chapter.
honestly needed them to make a love realization quicker as it just got annoying but thats me and some readers love miscommunication  ..have at it !!
no regrets still liked it a lot and i am 24 so i wasn't the target audience  for this so maybe thats it
still will read the second book and would recommend
PS: need a book on Britney  and her family no reason needed
