Was recommended this book for a project I'm working on and needed some inspiration for it, however I just couldn't find it within myself to finish this. I was fully aware going in that this isn't really a romance in the traditional sense and falls into the category of "dark romance" though I would hesitate to call it that either. No, it wasn't really the dark aspects that made this a DNF for me. It's just not good. I expected a lot more from this than I should have but I'm glad to be done reading it, at least.
