Takane & Hana, Vol. 11 by Yuki Shiwasu, 師走ゆき

4.0

This was quite the volume. I might call it the most dramatic to date (which is saying something for this series). There's heartbreak, sketchy family members, kidnapping, rescue, and some tropes that I didn't love, such as attempted sexual assault. On the sketchy family member,
SpoilerTakane's cousin the sketchy bastard kicked Takane down the stairs?!?! WTF?! And then he kidnaps Hana?! What the hell is wrong with this guy?!
On the heartbreak,
SpoilerHana confronts Takane about the kiss and tells him she loves him. He completely rejects her and shuts her down. Big oof. But then he saves her at the end. So the volume ends with things rather up in the air.
So yeah. All in all, quite the volume. I didn't love it as much as others in the series, to be honest. I'll definitely keep reading though! There's only 7 volumes left. 3.5 stars.
