I almost want to say I gave this book 5 stars solely because there is a pet rooster. Then I would have to say I am a liar because this book really was great, and one of my new favorites!
This book was very different from the others I have read of the author. It was very light hearted and I absolutely LOVED THAT! Not that I don't love her other work, this was just very different from the others I have read! Summer and Cole have a great hatelationship!
Absolutely LOVED when Cole watched the first playback of the scene that was filmed. Like it was in that moment he finally saw what everyone else was seeing in slow motion. Not sure why but that was a perfect moment for me.
The TWIST? It wasn't a twist really but the explanation of all the little side stories. I was so happy, GO SUMMER! I am 100% on your side. Very Carrie Underwood "before he cheats." But with a much much funnier style!
This was a great read and I'm glad I didn't pass over it. I was worried it would be super angsty like the others I read and it wasn't it was perfect. A perfect change up from the feel of her other books.
