The Prey by Andrew Fukuda

4.0

An enjoyable read and a great sequel to 'The Hunt'.
I didn't think the plot was quite as strong in this book, although I'm glad that we got to see how Gene and the others integrated themselves in the community of humans after the first book was set only in Dusker territory.
Again, along with the 'The Hunt', 'The Prey' was full of twists and turns. This book introduced us to a whole new group of characters, and developed the characters of Sissy and the others who briefly appeared in the first book.
I found the second half of this novel to be a lot more fast-paced and I couldn't put it down. I'm really looking forward to seeing how it all turns out in the final book of this trilogy :)
