This is a very interesting book. Not particularly in the plot but of the protagonists character. She would be characterized as "unlikeable" in that she defines herself as a psychopath, has psychopathic behaviour and murders (and sometimes eats) people. I think to the reader though she would be unlikable because she is a snob, patronising to the reader and any other character she interacts with. She's crass and deliberately crude but only in a way that displays her superiority in intellect, wealth and class. Dorothy makes the reader feel small, poor and uneducated and has no qualms about doing so. I like her and despite some of the writing choices (a lot of long sentences that are basically lists), I liked this book too.
Graphic: Cannibalism, Murder, and Sexual content
Moderate: Cursing
