The Goddess Test by Aimée Carter
2.0

It was okay. I think if I had read it when it came out I would have enjoyed it a lot more. It has a semi-love triangle type thing and a take on Greek Gods that doesn't work. Sorry, they were related by blood, why would they care about the seven deadly sins and just a few other things that are too spoilery to mention.
The "twists" were obvious, Henry was almost too nice and with more angst than an ancient immortal should have, and the reason behind the murders was terrible in the context of the actual myths. There are many other things I could complain about being a lover of mythology in general and Greek myth in particular.
I did enjoy the attempt at modernizing the Hades and Persephone myth with Hades needing a new Queen to rule the underworld with. Wish it had better execution.

I doubt I will bother to continue with the series
