I just finished it and I am torn between several feelings: I am happy that I finished it and sad that I finished it. It was so good! I loved the multiple POV (just like Caraval); it kind of made it easier for me to connect with the characters, get inside their heads.
Even though the ending was a bit obvious, I still enjoyed it a lot. I cannot stress it enough: Stephanie’s writing is pure MAGIC. The worlds she builds are exquisite. I cannot wait for her next book! If there’s one fantasy series you pick up, let it be this one! 🤍🦊🍎
