I'd Give Anything by Marisa de los Santos

4.0

Not as breathtakingly whole as the "Love Walked In" books, but a solidly compelling read with interesting and enjoyable characters and enough plot to keep you involved. I like that you have an idea about what could happen but it's not teased in an overt way, or purposely misdirected just to go A-HA with some ridiculous obscure outcome never mentioned before. I like a book with a satisfying denouement. I read the jacket when I was done, and…may I recommend you don't. I hate book jackets. They're never quite right. Anyway, it was a good kick out of my slump and finished in one sitting. Thank you Marisa de los Santos!
