The Inheritance of Shame
by Peter Gajdics
challenging

medium-paced
While at times difficult to read, due to the nature of Peter's experiences, his story is profound and heart wrenching. Juxtaposed against his parents' own trauma, Peter has deftly explained generational shame. Due to the graphic nature of his story, this book isn't for everyone. But, for those that can "weather the storm", they will find a narrative that is hopeful and educational.
