Do you know how easy it is to confuse my brain when you have characters named Annie, Annemarie, & Ali in the same book?⁣

A young mother dies suddenly and unexpectedly. This book is the aftermath of that for her husband, children, and closest friend. Heart-wrenching. 💔⁣

Did this book make me cry? Yes.⁣
Did I feel the need to have a sit down chat with my husband last night about important things to do with our kids if I was to die tomorrow? Also yes.⁣

I think this book has the potential to be a very hard read if you lost your mother young or significant other too early. It was heartbreaking enough for someone who hasn’t been there. It was beautifully and quietly written. ⁣

The only thing that held me back from giving it a slightly higher rating is how often I felt pulled out of the story by trying to keep the characters straight. ⁣

🎧 The audio was done so well. The names just became harder for my brain to process and differentiate when listening. Still recommend. ⁣
