White Feminism: From the Suffragettes to Influencers and Who They Leave Behind by Koa Beck

adventurous challenging informative inspiring medium-paced

4.5

Really great read for feminists of all races, classes, and genders. She does a great job explaining the history of white feminism and showing how that history influences today's white feminism. She also talks about how white feminism impacts trans people, which so few feminist books do!

My only complaint is that the organization of the book was a bit muddled at one point. The early chapters were roughly chronological, and then it abruptly shifted to being organized by theme. It was still very readable. It's dense, but still engaging.
