I love queer literature!!!!
The story follows the life of a gay man in his 20s and 30s and his various relationships- platonic/romantic/familial. What I loved about this book was the complexity of it. All kinds of relationships have multitudes to it and shapes us in ways we don’t even understand much later in life.

I loved reading about the way he lived his life. I loved seeing him having one girl best friend with whom he had a do or die relationship. His heartbreaks became my heartbreaks. His complicated relationship with his mother was so gut wrenching. And lastly the love he found that he was unable to keep. The journey of the narrator was tumultuous. But it was so real and raw.
