Don't Cry for Me by Daniel Black
5.0

Oh lord I cried like a little bitch to this one because its probably one of the most POWERFUL book I've ever read.

If you liked on earth were briefly gorgeous, you'll like this.

I think I've discovered a new niche genre of fiction novels which is heart wrenchingly candid books and letters written to family members.

There has been a recent thing on tiktok that I didnt realize was going on which was thinking nonfiction is the best way to learn and grow but we forget that fiction books can teach us how to grow is such a profound and sometimes subtle way. This book is one of those books. This book teaches how to empathize and understand where someone comes from even when they are hurtful. It teaches growth and fixing regrets and how people constantly battle with themselves how to be better while doing what they think is right.

Words cannot express how much I loved this book.
